VA Treatment

Everyone who qualifies for medical coverage through the Department of Veterans Affairs automatically qualifies for 100% covered Acupuncture treatments through the Veterans Community Care Program

A referral may be required from a VA Medical Doctor to receive acupuncture therapy.

The VA recognizes Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to treat several medical ailments, conditions, and chronic pain. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine may be used as the main treatment or in combination with regular medical treatment with an MD. This allows veterans to have a wide range of medical options through the Veterans Health Administration with more opportunities to heal and address pain and emotional well-being, such as depression and anxiety.

The VA requires vendors of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to be licensed by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Merle will provide a discount for those who don’t qualify for benefits. Also, Merle offers an Acupuncture package deal where the first visit is $185, and the following 5 visits are for a total of $360.
